Colin Discovers Penelope’s Secret Identity
Colin and Penelope’s relationship faces several challenges in Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2. At first, the Queen offers a large sum to whoever discovers Lady Whistledown’s identity. As a consequence, Cressida Cowper pretends to be Lady Whistledown to collect the money and move elsewhere. She does this because her father is forcing her to marry an older man. However, this complicates matters for Penelope, who is determined to prove that Cressida is not Lady Whistledown.
Penelope realizes the need to take back her power as she realizes that Cressida could misuse her power and hurt the Bridgerton family’s name. To print her latest issue debunking Cressida’s claims, Penelope goes to the printing shop at night. However, Colin follows her and discovers her identity. Given that Penelope has written awful things about Colin and his family in the past, this causes a lot of friction between the two.
Cressida Cowper As Lady Whistledown
Penelope and Colin’s relationship remains tense for a while. However, Colin doesn’t change his mind about marrying Penelope since they have previously been intimate. Penelope expects her mother to visit her new home the day after her wedding. However, Cressida Cowper shows up instead. Cressida goes on to tell Penelope that she has discovered that she is Lady Whistledown. Furthermore, she has evidence to support her claims.

After Penelope apologizes to the crowd, Queen Charlotte understands her reasoning. She allows Penelope to continue writing as long as she doesn’t go overboard again. Violet Bridgerton appears to be proud of her new daughter-in-law as well.
