• Moon Cha-min offers to be Shin Jae-rim’s fairy godmother and helps her pick outfits for her visit to Baek Do-hong’s studio.
• Moon Cha-min regrets not kissing Shin Jae-rim.
• When Shin Jae-rim goes to Baek Do-hong’s studio, he offers her the opportunity to create a storyboard for him.
• We see Baek Do-hong’s brother interrupt them as they are about to kiss, revealing Baek Do-hong’s BL novel career.
• Baek Do-hong asks Shin Jae-rim to leave out of embarrassment.
• Ban Dan-a tells Shin Jae-rim that Moon Cha-min is using her for his amusement.

Review Of Episodes 5 & 6

The plot of Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale gets more serious in episodes 5 and 6. Our protagonists start to seriously fall for each other in these episodes. However, the kdrama excels at balancing the seriousness of their situation with lightheartedness and humor.

The humor in the show is brought to life by our beloved Prince Charming Moon Cha-min. His character is truly refreshing. He doesn’t take himself too seriously, which adds humor to the storyline. The show has also introduced a significant character, Baek Do-hong, who appears to be another obstacle between Moon Cha-min and Shin Jae-rim. That said, Baek Do-hong’s character is given a sympathetic backstory. Although there is still a lot of mystery here, we can feel for him.

Overall, episodes 5 and 6 exemplify the show’s rising action. We see our protagonists developing strong feelings for each other. However, characters such as Ban Dan-a and Baek Do-hong threaten their potential relationship, providing us with plenty of entertainment and drama.
