My Military Valentine: Episode 2 Review
The opening of this episode opens with an action-packed scene of Lloyd and his teammates undergoing a counterterrorist training round. The show tactfully leads us to believe it’s a real gunfight. Initially, even Lloyd believes it is a real gunfight with live ammo, but to our relief, Lloyd is fine even after taking a bullet.
There are many instances where the show fails to tie things together and make sense. For example, Lloyd traveled to the training location with Baek Young Ok in the front seat, but didn’t recognize her until he was about to get shot. It would have just made more sense to have her already present and masked up at the training location.
Unfortunately, the show also doesn’t do a great job with its humor. In this episode somehow we just see goofy music playing as Lloyd struggles to cope with the military training. Understandably, he is portrayed as a spoilt celebrity trying to cope with one of the most dangerous jobs, but the goofy music doesn’t suit the scenes and situation at all.
