Everything goes as per plan, but Butcher finds himself puking and he also refuses to put on the disguise. Following this, MM orders Frenchie and Kimiko to proceed without Butcher.

Unexpectedly, Homelander is also at the venue. We see him at the urinal holding a grey hair strand belonging to him. He then returns to the party and encourages Ryan to be more outgoing, claiming the humans are just toys for their amusement.
Homelander tries to form an alliance with Victoria Newman
Following that, Homelander also meets Victoria and they send their kids off together to get ice cream. Homelander tries to win Victoria’s favour claiming they can both help each other out. Butcher takes the opportunity to talk to Ryan and convince him to leave with him and get away from Homelander. Ryan refuses and soon enough, Homelander arrives and takes him away.
Victoria’s daughter turns Supe
Frenchie and the others continue their plan to assassinate Victoria by swapping her eye drops. Just then Joe enters the room and sees Frenchie and Kimiko. Realising something is not right, she kills the guards before attacking Frencie. Kimiko loses an arm trying to defend him. They jump out of the window and starlight tries to catch them, but misses Kimoko. Kimiko splatters on the ground, but soon recovers using regeneration.
Victoria Newman, Seemingly invincible
Victoria catches Hughie in the black van and confronts him. He takes the opportunity to splash the liquid they have developed, but it doesn’t affect her. Butcher also attempts to shoot her in the head, but the bullet just ricochets. She proposes a truce to keep both Hughie and herself happy.
Butcher meets Joe Kessler
MM meets with Grace and Singer, but Butcher isn’t allowed inside. They question MM about the failure and pressure him to perform better. Meanwhile, Butcher meets Joe Kessler, an old friend who works for the CIA.
Todd is missing
Monique meets MM and tells him about their daughter’s tantrums and about the boy she beat at school. She attributes this behavior to Todd’s disappearance and asks MM to look for Todd since he is an expert at finding people.
Homelander’s desire for a challenger
The scene cuts to Homelander having a Nightmare. He then has a meeting with the Seven where Ashley presents the nominees for the new additions to the Seven. No one seems to oppose Homelander’s decisions which angers him.
Butcher approaches Victoria
Butcher heads off to a secret spot and meets up with Victoria. He makes her an offer and they agree to help each other out. She agrees to help Butcher get Ryan away from Homelander if he helps.
Hughie gets a call from the hospital informing him about his father’s admittance to the hospital. Hughie regrets not picking up the previous call and rushes to see his father.
Homelander selects a new member for The Seven
Homelander decides to approach Sister Sage from the list of nominees, the smartest person in the world. He approaches her and tests her powers by asking her about himself. She offers a complete teardown of his midlife existential crisis. He explains his achievement of power and how he doesn’t feel accomplished with everything he has. She offers him a different perspective on the world, where he can swoop in and save the day, making him look like the hero. Homalander is impressed and offers her the opportunity to join the Seven.
Homelander frames the Starlighters for Murder
MM, Frencie, and Kimiko head out to look for Todd. They arrive at a shady street where they spot Todd and a couple of other people. Sister Sage arrives and takes them into a building. She introduces them to Homelander who appreciates them and thanks them for their sacrifice. Homelander then asks Black Noir, The Deep, and A-Train to kill the men. Homelander then leaves for the verdict.
Outside the court, the people are split up into Starlighters and Hometeamers. After Homelander is deemed not guilty, Sister Sage amongst the Starlighters ignites a violent fight between the Starlighters and Hometeamers. Frenchie rescues Colin from an attacker while Starlight tries to save Kiara.
Just then A-Train gets notified by Sage to drop the dead bodies off at the riot location. They then frame the Starlighters for the murders.
